Project description: Enlargement of the platform and improvement of the layout of the road and the fitting out of the Maeztu and Atauri crossings.

Work scope: Construction of the new road with all its phases: earthworks, drainage works, structures and walls, pavements, signaling and environmental restoration.

Special features of the project: The manufacture of all the granular pavements was carried out in the company’s mobile classification and crushing facilities, using the material from the excavation of the road itself, obtained in blasting machines, which would normally have been taken to a landfill. Also, due to the special natural conditions of the area, embankments were built with “green wall” type fastenings to avoid further occupation of the natural terrain and greater integration of the slopes with the natural environment.
